Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
